Dr. Ramesh Zacharias
Chair
Ramesh Zacharias is the President of Kela Medical Inc. Dr Zacharias was the Founder and CEO of Med-Emerg Inc which grew to become Canada’s largest physician staffing company with over 1000 employees. Over the years Med Emerg provided health care to over 4 million individuals. In addition it was involved in system design work in Primary Care and Emergency Medicine in North America and 14 countries internationally. He took the company public in 1998 on NASDAQ. Dr Zacharias continues to maintain a part time clinical practice in Chronic Pain Management and Long Term Care. He brings over 30 years experience in innovation in health care and management experience.
Mr. Richard Grandville
Pharmacist
Mr. Granville holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Wales and a Master of Science in Pharmacology from the University of Bristol. He is a member of the Ontario College of Pharmacists and The Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain. Mr. Granville practices pharmacy in Whitby, Ontario.
Dr. Naresh Kumar
Cardiologist
Dr. Kumar graduated from the University of Calcutta, India in 1975. He later earned his MRCP (UK) from the University of Edinburgh and completed his training in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Critical Care Medicine at McMaster University in Canada.
Dr. Kumar’s primary practice is in the management of Risk Factors of Coronary Artery Disease, Preventative Cardiology and Cardiac Rehabilitation. He is Medical Director of Whitby Cardiovascular and Institute of Stress Medicine Canada.
Dr. David Fitchett
Cardiologist
Dr. Fitchett graduated from Cambridge University in 1970 and continued his clinical training at The Middlesex Hospital Medical School in London. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada.
Currently Dr. Fitchett is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Toronto and works as a Staff Cardiologist at St. Michael’s Hospital.
Dr. Sol Stern
Physician
Dr. Stern obtained his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Toronto in 1982 after obtaining a B.Sc and M.Sc at the same university. He is Chair of Palliative Care at Halton Healthcare Services. Dr. Stern spends about 1/4 of his time involved in Continuing Medical Education and has developed and collaborated on many CME workshops. He has been practicing in Oakville, Ontario since 1983 as a family physician.
Dr. Anthony D’Angelo

Dr. D’Angelo graduated in 1988 from the University of Toronto in Medicine. He was awarded the Sopman Humanitarian Award in 1989.

Mr. Pankaj Puri
Pankaj is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of England & Wales and has a B. A. Honours in Economics from Leeds University, England. He has significant experience in accounting and auditing at the senior executive level with CIBC, TB Bank, Old Mutual US Holdings and Coopers and Lybrand and is currently President of Independent Internal Audit Services Inc.
He has a proven record of accomplishment in accounting, financial management, internal audit, privacy, and governance.
He is currently on the board of the Canadian Employment Insurance Financing Board (a Crown Corporation) and is the Chair of the Audit Committee and a member of the Investment Committee.
He is also a Trustee of Helping Hands International and is a past board member of the United Way of Greater Toronto and the Greater Toronto Regional Council of the Canadian Red Cross.
